UNC Charlotte Opening Convocation
UNC Charlotte’s Convocation is a tradition that formally begins the start of the new academic year. New and returning faculty and staff have the opportunity to hear remarks from the Chancellor, the Provost, the Faculty President, the Staff Association President and the Student Body President. In addition, faculty recognition is provided to those who have been promoted to the rank of full professor and those who have served the University for 25 years.
